The efficiency upgrades were initiated as part of Daro’s sustainability program and are designed to reduce the consumption of natural resources, minimize waste, and create healthier living environments.  <more>

Duckworth School Renovation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Fall 2017 – Daro Realty,  LLC, one of DC’s oldest and most revered residential brands with nine buildings and 700 rental apartments under management, volunteered with The Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA) and other local companies in renovations at the James E. Duckworth School in Prince George’s County.

Volunteers renovated the Faculty Lounge and demolished and rebuilt the school’s Independent Living Apartment.  This two-day volunteer effort was a major undertaking, made possible by donations from a number of well-respected companies including Daycon Products Company, Raine & Son LLC Plumbing & Heating, CertaPro Painters of Rockville; Toepher Construction Company, Hawkins Electric, Gali Service Industries, LSR Refinishing, AFR Furniture Rental, Scheffries Laundry, SP + and Ferguson Enterprises; and construction expertise from Daro Realty, Ross Management and Southern Management. <more>
